i say - why do they even exist ?!

yesterday was a big copyright violation party at my belgian friend's house. my swedishs friend borrowed me her laptop, and i copied all of the belgian's cd collection, while she aquired the one of the swede. she also treated me with "mekupelet al halav" but with a REAL chocolate from belgian, claimimg she invented this drink... (!!) while i was there her current boyfriend and then her ex-bf called, so first she spoke flemish, and then turkish (cause the second one is from the time she was on exchange in turkey). it was very funny to guess when does she say "i luv u hun" and when does she ask him what is he wearing... there was virtually no way to guess...

and on a different note. some very usefull things i've learned in german at the past few days:
"schluk" means shluk, like in hebrew. also "shieber", "schalter"... and "telefon"... but TV is "fernseher"
"lieder" comes from "lied", which is "song" so Ivri Lieder is not a leader but a singer...

and also "schnorer" is shnorer, and "leshnorer sigariot" is simply "zigaretten schnoren"
"to pull someone through the cacao" means to fool him
"styropo" means kalkar (because who else if not me would translate the explanation sheet about home garbage separation). and yoavi, maybe u know how to say kruv memule in 10 languages, but i'm a good competiotion for u because i know kalkar already in 4 ;)
and the last one, "kusit al" translates as "mehona lohetet"

now that we're done with that, i can tell u that i've got 95 on that goddam "chat with avatar" project i was programming before i left (George, in the manual it still stands "for example, if Mary wants to chat with George" ;) and also, today i was sitting on a Phonology lecture (for real germans, in real german) and i understood the whole thing! the proff was talking about transform Fourie, so i was thinking about Ko all the time, while i was looking outside the window, because there was a huge window just infron of my face ( i sat offside) and there u could see the lake with the other coast, it was so beautifull!
