monday-funday

for roy: Montag - Espaßtag

u always do all the fun stuff the day before an exam, when u undertake the most innovative forms of escapism u have come to know.
so this time i came home directly after school, and didnt stay in the library emailing my life away. i cooked myself eierspätzler mit gemüse. explanation: it was obvious that it´s not gonna take me long to start trying all the weirdest food one can find in the local supermarket. i´m really enjoying myself with the food here! first of all - it´s heaven for the yogurt freak i am. so many kinds that i can buy a new one everyday without getting the same one twice! then they have all the local national dishes. First i tried the Schnupfelnudeln - which looks like fingers made of flour and potatoes. Now the eierspätzler - which is a sort of itriyot beitzim. So i bought some frozen vegetables and cooked them with this thing, and was so yammi yammi yammi, and it also makes me feel a little more german now :)
so back to the story (was there a story?!). after food i went to the bike auction. it was very funny - the iriya sold old abandoned bikes it gathered around the city for mehirim mufkaim. Afterwords i went wondering around the old city, doing some window-shooe-shopping. it was a real quality time with myself, i should do it more often. then i went to some travel agencies concerning our trip to Italy, and i spoke all german!!! i´m so proud! :) then i was finally back home to study for the exam. but one half second before going back to my appartment i stopped, just to say hi, at monika´s - my slovakian neighbour that says "kurva" all the time. so we chitchatted a bit (in german!). then i studied for half an hour, then Christopher came with his fags (fags=cigarettes in English english!) - because the weeklong abstinence period is over, we proved that we have control, so we´re smoking again. but i didnt smoke because i have a sore throat. also something weird happened - from all the german speaking for the whole day, i started loosing my english! Terrifying! Then Helena the swede came for tea, but we spoke german again so it was fine. but then tomer came and ruined it because he´s in the beginners group so he cant really speak german. when they all left, Christopher came again. i made him study the prepositions with me for a while. then i gave him free counseling on what to buy for his gf' b-day, and then he showed me all the punches he´s got at his saturday rugby-match, all over gufo ha-anog, and i went "ooooh" and "uuuh" and promissed to make him a chicken soup. did i mention that he was supposed to be a proffesional rugby player, and he played for England during all his school years, but then... he decided that rugby doesnt make him happy so he quit (gam spontani vegam ragish). and he coaches the women rugby team...
so i told him that as a friend he´s supposed to encourage me to study, on which he replied that he encourages me to do what makes me happy , and if he thought that studying for this exam would make me happy he would, but what he thinks i need is to rock-n-roll. So the conclusion of the evening was that i have to be more rock-n-roll. but i guess he said that just because he was bitter about us not going clubbing as usual on moday night because of my test (and because i´m still sick). so it´s all good.
also i think i might have got another point on a new german friend. this is a really weird story though...
i saw this guy in the sinagogue, when Tomer and Lior dragged me there on rosh-hashana, and which was my first ever time in a sinagogue. he looked just like a regular ars and spoke a perfect hebrew. afterwords i saw him at "b1" (pronounced "be eintz"), doing the grind with some chick, and today i ran into him in the uni. mistaber, that he was born in switzerland, lived in israel for 3 years , and the rest 20 of them he spent in Konstanz... which makes him a peculiar hybrid between a german and an ars... but he was nice, although ktzat shokist.

thats all folks
kisses
