even though i'm a princess, at the end of the day i'm a very low maintenance princess and a cheep date.
when I was 6 there was this thing i had to do, that all russian kids had to go through - learn a poem and recite it infront of all the adults. mommy tought me this really cool poem about a girl that lost her teddy bear. i absolutely loved the standing on the chair and the attention. i loved it so much that when i was 16 daddy tought me an even better poem by the same poet about a very sad soviet family and i kept reciting it to my parents' friends even though i passed that test some 10 years ago...
this friday i had my first tango performance. i danced with Andrey in open air with a live quintet and lots of people watching. it was organized by an icecream place that wants to host regular tango afternoons. the key was the outfit and the passion. and inviting all my friends that dont know much about tango but who know how to make me feel good :)
anyway, i feel much better since i've been practicing with Andrey every day, and since i finally got to wear the little hat with the feather i brought from argentina and the net stockings mommy brought me from moscow for this occasion.
Here you can watch some of my favorites, my personal heroes Santiago & Cecila :
Tango less ordinary.
More show.
More impro.
